“Jesus told him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know Him and have seen Him!”
- John 14:6-7
Who is God? What is He like? These are questions that most Christians at some point in their lives have wondered. That yearning to know our Creator is deep within us, and our hearts so want to know our Father in Heaven. These were questions that the disciples also asked too.
Here, in the book of John, Jesus assures his disciples. The chapter starts with Jesus remarking, "Don't let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me". To know God, all we have to do is know Jesus. Jesus is the way, and he is the path for us in knowing God. When we read the words of the bible, and we learn of Jesus, we are learning about God. Follow his actions, follow Him, and we follow the truth to the God we love.
